Musical tells the story of a young orphan, Oliver, and his attempts to stay good in a society that refuses to help. He escapes from workhouse where he endured a miserable existence and travels to London, where meets a gang of juvenile homeless pickpockets led by the elderly criminal Fagin. Oliver naïvely unaware of their unlawful activities is easily taken advantage of.

The story of Oliver Twist was told by Charles Dickens over 150 years ago, but even nowdays it remains resonate and continues to excite children’s interest, as it touches always important topics of real friendship, justice and battle between good and evil.
